About Us
Robert Jobson and his wife Rosemary have both represented England at International level. Rose, our ladies and junior coach, was the clay pigeon shooter of the year.

Catering for all
White Lodge Shooting School in Thornton Abbey, Ulceby caters for everyone from beginners who have never held a gun before to Olympic champions. Ladies and juniors are especially welcome and catered for.
International champions
Robert is also an England International with over 50 years experience in coaching while Rosemary was British All Round Ladies Champion in 1998 and achieved team silver with England in the 2002 world championships in New Zealand, being 6th lady overall.


Near Thornton Abbey
The grounds are set within ½ mile of the historic ruins of the monument of Thornton Abbey making it the perfect occasion for a day out in the country.
Light refreshments can be arranged if required and for those who prefer to watch rather than shoot, there are 6 acres of mature gardens to browse (15 acres in all).

We have a trout lake and large ponds teaming with fish and wildlife providing some beautiful vistas during your stay at White Lodge.
